With more than 30 years of service focused on global leadership, operations, and logistics management and the innate ability to focus on the cultural differences of the audiences and constituencies, Dawn Gannon specializes in leading a diverse range of projects from inception to completion within a defined scope, quality, time, and budget while filling project gaps through key performance indicators. She has broad experience in many technology platforms, outstanding expertise in meetings management, and vigorous editorial, public policy, and media relations skills.
Dawn’s reputation for successfully leading multifaceted teams, creating and deploying strategic plans, and enabling global growth is rooted in her firm belief that building and supporting truly engaged teams is the cornerstone of success for her team and clients. Through her work with a global network of experts in women’s health, mental health, education, and nonprofit communities, she thrives on daily opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others.
Dawn is a proud United States Naval Reserve veteran currently serving as Interim Executive Director for the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals. She is an active member of the Florida Society for Association Executives (FSAE) Education Committee and the American Society for Association Executives Faculty Pool.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Master of Business Administration degree, and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Management from American Public University, a Lean/Six-Sigma Green Belt and the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
